Lounge

With not one, but two sofas, this is the place to put your feet up and watch your favourite TV shows from the Freeview LED flat-screen, or buckle up to watch a DVD, chill out to a CD or settle down to a book. We have a library of fiction, historical and wellbeing books, as well as maps, brochures and a stack of leaflets for things to do in the area. 

Bedroom

Spacious, roomy, luxurious double bedroom with loads of storage from the double built-in wardrobes. Sumptuous Hulstra designer king size bed with matching bedside tables. Duck and goose down duvet.

Kitchen

Fully stocked with all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils we think you'll need, plus washing machine, Calor Gas hob and oven, dish-washer, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and loads more. There's a full-length feature window, in front of the dining table, that doubles as a door, so you can have your meal 'al fresco' and still be indoors.

Shower Room

A spacious shower room with plenty of natural light, heated towel rail, mixer shower and shaver point.

Garden Area

The property is South facing, so you get the best of the sun all day and with a dedicated decked seating area angling West, it's a perfect place to catch the sunsets over the Correen hills. The garden area is stocked with a glittering array of shrubs, herbs, trees, alpine and border plants. And the best thing about it... is you don't have to do the weeding!

Parking

There is ample free parking for several cars close to the property.

Accessibility

Car parking is about 20 feet from the property up a very slight inclined gravel path. There is a step up into the property which is all on one level.

Location Notice

The cottage nestles in the shadows of Oakwood, the location of Consultations and Appointments. It is accessed off the A944.

Local walks

The accommodation affords lots of local walks from the door. We have permission to access the nearby Whitehouse estate from which, and within 20 minutes, you can find amazing views over to the Cairngorms. We also have loads of leaflets and maps for other local walks, ranging from short strolls, to ridge or forest walks, circulars and all-day hikes.

Pets

Due to the lack of amenities, we don't allow pets.

No Smoking

Sorry... but we don't allow smoking inside the property.
